It’s been a few weeks since my last post.  I’ve been busy polishing up the resume and sending it out to friends and to whomever is looking for an accounting professional — and no John, I’m not going to work for HR Block.  Business is tight out there and I’m not very optimistic…

Anyway I had to check to see if I got any comments and of course nobody loves me, except for my two beautiful girls and wonderful husband.  But I did get a few comments about Viagra…  It’s bad enough that I get emails telling me my pecker is too small, now I’m getting spam on my blog saying I can’t get my pecker up.

It’s obvious that these guys don’t even bother to check that I’m a woman and don’t have that type of plumbing.

So come on.  I want a real comment.  I know somebody out there loves me…  Anyone?

I Like MyBlogLog

I know this is lame but I think MyBlogLog is kinda cool.  I really like how it grabs your posts and tags and categorizes them.

I signed up and it read my blog and I saw that it related one of my posts talking about Britney to Britney Spears.  (And Britney just love to be made fun of like the singer.)

But it’s sorta nice to know who else is out there based on what you are writing about.  I really want to get to know more information about being a WAHM and I’m sure that I can find some contacts using MyBlogLog!

So I’m just newbing (is that a word?) along trying to get the hang of blogging.  Perhaps I should have tried this first on Blogger.com or WordPress.com instead of using one of my friends web hosting accounts.  (He said it would be better this way in the long run.)  So I’ll try to get a hang of it and not to sound like a complete idiot.

Yesterday, we had fun at the park.  It’s good to get away even if it is just to enjoy the company of your family.  Sarah and Britney had lots of fun while John and I took a nearby stroll with that ever careful watch over them.

Tomorrow John goes back to work and the girls are back in school.  I’m going to start emailing out my resume from one of my Cool Pink Laptops and look more into being a WAHM.  I’m getting really excited this year and I know it’s going to be great.

Whatever I had was pretty minor and Britney is over it.  I probably caught somethng different and being so run down from the holidays took it’s toll.

I still have the sniffels but doing much better.   This year I’m either going to find a part-time job or start working at home trying to make some money online.  I think the term is WAHM (Work at Home Mom).

There seems to be a lot of ways to make money, but I don’t really want to sell some sleezy ebook.  Perhaps I’ll try creating some websites.  Wordpress blogging seems pretty exciting and I like playing around with the templates.

Somehow I messed up this template and took of the date.  (Really, John show me how to mess up the templates.)

Anyways, I just wanted to say I’m better and we’re off to the park to play with the girls.

Happy New Years everyone!  I wish everyone a happy and prosporus year.

We didn’t ring in the new year with Britny and now me sick with the flu, so the first day of the year it’s just plain old rest, fluids and advil.

Britny has been sick since the day after Christmas and now I’ve got the sore throat and coughing up some green nasty stuff.   Britny is much better but still has some flem left after about a week.  We didn’t go antibiotics this time since it didn’t really seem that bad with only a slight temperature…

You know, the temperature just enough to make you feel bad but not really bad.  I’ll rough it out since I don’t have to go to work next Monday. (HA, the advantages of being unemployeed.)  I just hope Sarah and John don’t get it.

But they seem to keep their distance from the both of us and use a lot of lysol to kill the germs.
